This interactive digital comic, created as part of my Master’s Research Project at NCSU in 2015, focuses on the story of George, a sensitive kid dealing with persistent bullying.
Stylistically, the comic utilizes a cartoon iconic language to tackle its heavy theme, creating a powerful contrast between the light design and serious subject matter. Each of the three overlapping perspectives (George, Grub the bully, and Beauty the crush) also explored distinct art styles, showcasing a high level of experimentation with sequential art and digital storytelling.
