The FPS Curriculum Overview Brochures provide a comprehensive, yet accessible snapshot of the District’s elementary school, middle school, and high school programs. Designed with clarity and visual cohesion, these brochures highlight the key features of each curriculum, offering its target audience of district families and community members an easy-to-navigate guide to our educational offerings.
The objective of the project was to update and redesign previous FPS Curriculum Overviews into a more familiar brochure-style format, enhancing visual cohesion and clarity, and update content to current information on the educational program levels. The updated brochures serve as user-friendly guides, effectively showcasing the key features of the elementary, middle school, and high school curricula.
The theme centers on simplicity, clarity, and visual harmony. The design utilizes ample white space for easy navigation and clean, sans-serif text to ensure the information is clear and accessible. Featured student photos are presented as cutouts and encircled motifs, emphasizing the human aspect of each program. Additionally, cohesive full-context images provide an immersive view of the learning experience. Together, these elements create a modern, visually engaging layout that effectively guides families through the key features of each curriculum.
There was not a specific budget created for this project outside of staff work time. All work was handled in-house except for annual photo sessions at our schools by a professional photographer.
