What began as a new icon…
While working as a designer with Code Roadies, I was tasked with a series of projects to enhance the company’s visual identity. The first was a faux band tour t-shirt design for our 2016 marketing campaign. To give the brand a more minimalist technological aesthetic, while maintaining its rock band concept, my solution included the creation of a simplified rocker hand placed within opening and closing HTML brackets acting as the main graphic on the shirt and a new icon for the brand.
…became a tour shirt…

…rockstar business cards…
The design was well received and I was soon asked to create business cards utilizing the new mark. The final card was printed with a “silk” finish and features the employee’s signature in spot UV gloss. The results were business cards fit for rockstars.
… and eye-catching animated email newsletter headers.
My final contribution to the brand’s identity was a series of animated GIF email headers designed to visually amplify company news for subscribers. After receiving positive feedback on an initial speaker GIF I created independently, I was approved to develop a series of animations—one for each quarterly newsletter. I thoroughly enjoyed illustrating and translating the unique sounds of each piece of equipment into visual, on-brand animations.
