FM Comic Con 2026 was a great reminder of why I love doing shows: the conversations, the laughs, and those quick moments when someone connects with a print, a comic, or some weird little idea sitting on my table.
The best part of the weekend was the energy. People werenāt just shopping. They were hanging out, talking about shared interests, and swapping stories. My booth ended up feeling more like a tiny pop-culture clubhouse than a sales table.

What clicked at my table
PokĆ©mon pieces were a standout this year, which made sense with the convention landing on PokĆ©monās 30th anniversary.
My sketch covers and sketch cards also did well. I draw those ahead of the show on blank comic covers and trading cardāsized paper. Each one is a small original, and those pieces always help make a convention worthwhile financially. Iāll need to spend some time making more before my next show while continuing work on comics and prints.
A new addition: Snotty Bunny shirts
I also debuted my Snotty Bunny Tyler Draws t-shirts, printed by Mistees T-Shirts. A couple even sold on Saturday, which was exciting.
Snotty Bunny has quietly become my weird little art mascot. A slightly unhinged bunny covered in snot. Iām starting to think the character might deserve a mini comic so people understand what kind of chaos theyāre wearing.

Takeaways
The best moments happened when I treated the booth like an experience first. Something fun to stop at, talk about, and remember later. The sales followed the connection.
Thanks to everyone who stopped by, picked something up, or traded stories over the weekend.
Making art for shows like this is less about filling a table with prints and more about letting strange little ideas escape and play in the pop culture ecosystem.
