PS Doors, a manufacturing company in Grand Forks, ND, was finding it difficult to showcase its entire complex product line clearly and concisely. After determining that the task would be impossible to solve with traditional photography, Anchor Marketing proposed an illustrated solution and brought me onto the project to design and produce three illustrated scenes demonstrating each of the company’s three business segment offerings. Shown here are my design process sketches, which we used as a stepping stone in the approval process, along with my final isometric vector illustrations. This was a fantastic project that epitomizes the value of illustration & design to manufacturing & commerce.

The second part of this project included turning these vector illustrations into interactive hero images on the company’s new multisite that we were simultaneously creating at Code Roadies. By collaborating with the lead developer, we were able to realize the fully interactive CSS3 animated SVG graphics that are resolution-independent, responsive, and work across all major browsers. The project was a resounding success, and the won a 2017 Graphic Design USA American Web Design award.
