Audience:
This Step into the Spotlight brochure served as the primary printed recruiting tool intended to excite prospective students and provide an overview of the Trollwood Performing Arts School 2023 summer offerings. It’s target audience was prospective K-12 students and their families around the Fargo, Moorhead, West Fargo, Dilworth, and surrounding MN/ND areas.
Objective:
The brochure’s main objective was to inform students and the community of the summer performing arts educational opportunities at Trollwood and entice them to enroll.
Theme:
The theme, Step into the Spotlight, an inspiring phrase in the performing arts, invites students to share and explore their talents and interests through our summer programming. Additionally, it hinted at our 2023 largest program, the mainstage musical production of Singin’ in the Rain. A film and reel motif throughout the book also suggested shared themes with the musical and allowed for many photos of past productions and classes to be shown.
Evaluation:
The budget was $1,543.18 for printing of 7,500 brochures. Design, layout, and distribution was all handled in-house. The brochure was well received and excited the intended audience. Our 2023 programming had 778 student enrollments, which was a slight increase from the year prior.
